On Thursday, August 15, the music world witnessed an electrifying moment as Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran teamed up during the acoustic set of her "Eras Tour" at London’s Wembley Stadium.

In the middle of her guitar performance of “Everything Has Changed,” Swift paused and joked that something felt off. That’s when Sheeran made a surprise entrance, joining her on stage.

The duo treated the crowd to a medley of three songs: “End Game,” “Everything Has Changed,” and Sheeran’s smash hit “Thinking Out Loud.”

Both “End Game” and “Everything Has Changed” are notable collaborations between Swift and Sheeran from her previous albums.

“Thinking Out Loud,” a chart-topping single from Sheeran's album 'x,' earned him a Grammy for Song of the Year in 2016. Swift has previously expressed her admiration for the track, even sharing in a now-hidden Instagram post on Sheeran’s 25th birthday that listening to “Thinking Out Loud” was a defining moment in her life.

Recalling a cherished memory, Swift wrote, “There’s a moment I’ll never forget from a day in London about two years ago. I was buying ballet shoes when Ed walked in and said, ‘You have to hear this new song. I think it’s the best one I’ve ever written.’”

During their performance on Thursday night, Swift continued to praise Sheeran, telling the audience he’s “like a second brother” to her.

“This guy is one of my best friends in the world,” she said. “We toured together on the Red Tour, and every time I perform the ‘Red’ segment of this show, it brings back all the memories we made. Now, he’s someone who plays Wembley like it’s no big deal. He works so hard, and even though he’s on his own tour and probably exhausted, he wanted to be here for you all tonight. So, let’s hear it for Ed Sheeran!”

August 15 marked the first of Swift’s five London shows, following the recent cancellation of her Vienna, Austria concerts due to a foiled terror plot involving a suspected suicide bomber.
